Link P3 to Pervasive.SQL 2000

We do installation long time ago and I forget some steps. However, when purchase the software, there are manuals. Read careful to the installation guide and some associated document from Sybase web and knowledge before installation.



My experience is some window files will be deleted after installation or version is not correct. We manual copy and paste those files to window folder.

I tried to link the ddf files by using a Pervasive ODBC driver and i get access to the tables without the client.

I´m not a professinal so can anybody give me a step by step introduction to install first a 2k3 server and than i have to install the pervasive.sql server or better primavera local installation with to copy the files of the project folder.

You need to purchase Pervasive.SQL 2000, both server and client.

Create a partition on server to allow Pervasive server installation. P3 project will be stored in this volume. For client machine, install Pervasive client.

Make sure all client machines have Pervasive install if access to server to open the P3 project.
