I am going to work on a railway project, which is altogether new to me. Can you please let me know salient features of the project like WBS,cost,Schedule for any typical work.
Unfortunatley I have never done any electrical substation work.
The questions I mentioned to you were aimed at providing you with a starting point.
These are the type of things Id ask to generate a converstation with the site manager and project engineer.
Im very sorry if I misled you in my knowledge of the subject, however my background in aeronautical engineering and railway construction.
I would suggest that if you havent already received any more hints from PP, that you post these further questions on PP and see what sort of response you get back.

Can you please let me know some more questions in this respect so that i get maximum information from site manager and prepare this schedule as per actual site requirements.
What is the nature of the project work, where will it be, what do you need to acheive with these early works?
I think you just need to get an understanding from the site manager as to what will be required, is it a temporary switch box on a pole? or are you wiring temporary buildings? Do you need a substation? What needs to be powered?

James,
A very open question indeed.
What is the nature of the project work, where will it be, what do you need to acheive with these early works?

Sorry mate but its a fairly open ended question.
