This is the whole content of comment from our consultant. In your idea it is advisable to change the original duration most especially to activities which is already started for example, 7 days duration(O.D) of fixing rebar for slab. After two weeks I need to update the programme of work, the duration (O.D) became 10 days or more. Moreover, it is required that the percent complete is link to remaining duration, if it is the case update is pessimistic. Please send me your clarification guys i want to know if they are in right position or im wrong.
Keep on Planning....

If you feel that the schedule has significant changes in term of logic , then you need to advise the consultant not only updating but Revising the schedule..
The schedule that is running out from the original logic is not theoritically healthy to update without first doing the revised..

Rodel ,
YOU SAID; the duration (O.D) became 10 days or more.
You need to keep in mind that O.D. will not change, however the Actual duration (A.D.) it will.
Take note of your setting in autocost cost not to link the rule no.1 so that when the AD is more than the OD the % will not become Zero..
Still, you are hesistant give me the full content from your consultant comments so I can help you more...

Rodel,
Take the word REVISE, meaning you need to change the logic if you feel there are significant changes from the original schedule logic.
In such case, before anything; you need to inform the client/consuntant of such changes, then UPDATE...

Ulysses,
You mean not advisable to change the logic of the current programme of work nor considering the actual progress.
