Starting position is that youre stuck with them. You win some, you lose some, thats the nature of business.
Should a variation (rather than omission) come up you would have to try and argue that the conditions / characteristics that you are now performing the work under is sufficiently different from that you priced to justify a re-rate. That may only apply to the varied work though.
