Tools - > Project Utilities - > Back-up - > See in the bottom of this command box To (Brouse and select your Flash disk for example F:). Check the compress file box.

you can backup a planning to a flash disk, its only a matter of designing the correct volume name in the destination field; most of the time, the flash disk volume designatiin does not show up at first time, you will have to try another time
do not use copy and paste as you have a chance to miss one of the 23 files of a project
I use to BACKUP my project in a NEW FOLDER and then copy all files from there to my USB drive using WINDOWS EXPLORER. Then copy it back to my destination drive/system.

copy & paste or back-up & restore, thats all i know
