It is normal where you have industrial states. For day to day maintenance and specially during the shutdowns. Lot of equipemnt supply you the equipmemnt on hour rate + mob & demob cost. But in this case the rate is abvous high teh daily/weekly/monthly bases.

I believe that it all has to do with money. You pay for labor by the hour but you rent equipment by the day.
