Create a resource and give it a value of 1 for the "Price/Unit" unit Assign a resource to the activity. Keep in mind that this resource should not be spread across an activity as it is a material resource and thus will be expended as soon as the activity starts (usually this is the case but you might have reasons not to do this). Use a resource lag of ’0’ and a duration of ’1’ and the Budgeted Quantity as the Cost Value of the material. Hope this is what you mean and is of some help.
