The tools/graphics reports/resource and cost will generate the forecast curve you need. If you want to develop the curve on spreadsheet, generating it from tabular reports cant be avoided.
Export the resources or costs [using tools/tabular reports/resources (or cost)/loading menu] data in CSV format, specifying "total" usage (not peak nor average).
Save the data in excel or lotus spreadsheet file then a presentable curve, complete with figures & what-nots, can be developed.
