As you stated, it worked before. The problem happened after installation of another graphics software like photoshop or ACDSee, etc.
There are two solutions.
1). Go to Window explorer. Select View, Options. Click on the File Types tab and associate the .BMP files with MSPAINT. Then, check if this work. If not, do 2nd option.
2).Do a REGEDIT. Go to Start, Run and type the word "REGEDIT" in the open: command line and then click OK button. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT: Select the .BMP folder. Edit the Default value to be "Paint.Picture". You may need to remove the current logo, close the project, then re-insert it.
The above solutions will sure fix the problem.
Cheers!

I encountered the same problem before. What i did was to save the logo into .pmt. It was behaving abnormally but after some time, the logo started to appear constantly.
I hope this will help.

I’m getting frustrate with attaching logo into P3 report as well.
I have used the logo with .bmp, .pmt, .wmf, or even word file and it works, the logo appears on print preview.
However, every time I print out the report include with attached logo, P3 always shows printer error message, either I make print out in pdf file or hardcopy.
What is wrong with my P3? Is there any solution for this problem…

Probably your logo file is too big... my suggestion is that you could cut&paste in paint applet and save as bmp or jpeg format but try to reduce the size of your logo... or you might as well follow Dattatreyas way...

None of the solution works 100%
when i raised this question sometime before i got all these answers
here is a sure solution
create a word file (ms word)
paste your logo there , modify it (if you Want)
name it and save it
now in the logo selection
select "word document "
voila
now your logo will be there
remember
when you open this project the ms word will also opens and your logo file also opens !!!!!
now minimise the P3 window and close the "logo word" file Only
DONT CLOSE THE MS WORD PROGRAMlet it run in the background
now
go back to p3 print prewiew the logo will be there
100%
Make The logo AS big as possible in ms word
This Will Work

I have had the same problems with .bmp files.
With wmf files there are no such problems.
Good luck!

Hi,
You will need a PMT File format in order to insert the logo.

look for prmdraw.exe in your system (c:\p3win\progs\prmdraw.exe)
open the application, open the required logo in any other applcation, copy the log & paste in prmdraw file & save).
hope this solves ur query

How do I go about creating a PMT file?

The Best way seems to be
" Copy the image & paste it in a *.pmt file, save it in a *.pmt file & then use the same in the page set up"
It will hardly be unsuccessful.

Try images format. Like JPEG, GIF etc.
Hope it works.

This happens often to me as well. I never found out the reason.Try an other format: e.g. put your logo in a word file.
