P3 has got you covered on this one. In P3, just select Edit / Copy Picture from the menu. You cursor will turn into a cross-hairs and a camera. Click on the upper corner of what you want to copy and then drag the box to the lower corner and click again. Everything in the box has been copied to the Windows Clipboard. Open up you word processor or picture program and then select Edit / Paste. Presto! Perfect picture. Good luck!

use the cropping tool from the picture toolbar in powerpoint
and cut of what you dont want.
