Dear Edgar Ariete

If you work in any site you will see that project as actul case, so that i think our working in that program((primavera p3)) must be to find a solution for any case, and with repect to that case for updating of information after you entered a new data

..very easy ,

you can solve by enter the new percent for each acitivity as indivitual case, than enter the remainding date for each case after get schdual new , than you can see the differance

Hello George

It is quite frequent to have new items included in contracts (normaly we call them additionals).

One option for not having them mixed is to create a subproject for each additional. Another option is to create such a structure for the database that you can separte them and measure progress independentl (as well as the overall completion)

Any way you should always make a target for each revision you issue of the plan.

In your example you are right when mentioning the overall progress goes from 33 to 30% (because your project became bigger). This changes should also be reflected in your budget and so on.

Hope to be any help for you

Hi,

I guess you are right. That’s why it’s difficult to compare your Target with your Current Plan considering your sample.

If I may add your question, How many Target Plans does a Project needs?
