My existing project has a project start date of April 05 and a project finish date of March06. I have now added in activities for April 06. These activities are showing critical. My guess is that this is due to the project finish date.
I figured if I could change the project finish date it would sort out the activities that are showing critical.

Go on PROJECT view > DATES > and change MUST FINISH BY.

I cant understand what are u trying to do.
Do u have a timeschedule with 1 year durarion and whant to become it 2 years durarion, ok??
Does this timeschedule has any progress? Or it didnt start yet?
Probably u will have to change activity durations to achive 2 years, or detail more WBS inserting more activities etc.
My first impression is that u are replanning your project. Is that ok??
