Bar chart disappears

Hi, Kool.



My setting in the View/Layout/Option is:



(1)Organize

(2)Run the Filter – Replace the current set of activities.



Regarding the use of filter (Format/Filter), you may select any of the existing predefined filters (FL-01, FL-02, etc). Then click “Modify” and check if the existing criteria or specification is what you want; if not, replace the selection criteria and provide the appropriate parameters.



Another option is to click “Add” filter instead of “Modify”.



In the Filter Dialogue Box, after selecting the filter criteria, select the following option:



“Filter: Replace activities shown in current view”



Finally before closing the Filter Dialogue Box, click “Run”.



If you’re still encountering same problem despite doing above procedures, please check authentication of your software. By the way, I’m using P3 Version 3.1 SP3. (Click Help/About P3).

Thank you Sen Moc for the help! I did what you said but again the bar chart kept dissapearing. The only way it worked out for me was to use the ’snapshot activity list’ choice from the ’layout options’. Otherwise, whenever i use ’organise’ no matter what the filter is, it makes it dissapear. Strange but thats what it does!



Any help would be valuable especially with the filters use.

Hi, Kool.



What is happening is your default view is the PERT View (View/Pert).



Now, when you are in PERT VIEW and want to go back to BAR CHART VIEW, click View/Barchart.



To save your Bar Chart View (or Bar Chart Lay-out), click View/Layout/Save As.

You can create as many Lay-out as you want.



When you Exit P3 or close the P3 File, the last Layout View you used will be saved as default when you Open again the same file.
