Planner/Scheduling Engineer
My strengths are
I have numerical skills. I have developed skills in facilitation, planning and scheduling, project management, risk management, supply chain management, conflict resolution, public speaking, among others.
My weaknesses are
I feel that I sometimes experience obsessive-compulsive behavior, wanting to double-check on any steps I take. I really want to improve in my use of schedule risk analysis tools/software.
What skills come to me naturally
The state of the oil and gas industry is in bad state. As there is need to diversify into non-oil industry, such as facilitation and training, I want to tap into my natural ability to share my knowledge with others. Thus, making money through consulting/advisory and freelance roles
What do I struggle with
As there is strong competition for Planners/Schedulers/Project Controls Engineer with required certifications, I am working hard to get credentialed and be available for these challenges. And to develop more soft skills required for these roles.
