Sales Advisor
My strengths are
I am a very astute student who is hungry to learn. I have worked for 5 years as a Sales Adviser in a front line role where I interacted and dealt with customers face to face. This role enabled me to develop problem solving skills, communication skills, organisational skills and team working skills. I have also developed presentation skills because every sales interaction was a presentation of the products and the business to potential customers to get them to sign on. I have acquired project management knowledge in an academic environment up to the Post Graduate Level. I have also acquired professional qualifications which are PRINCE2 Foundation and PRIMAVERA P6 Fundamentals and a knowledge of MS PROJECT. These strengths make me a suitable candidate to give an entry level Project Planning Role.
My weaknesses are
I lack industry experience in Project Management and Project Planning. My only experience is within an academic environment when I carried out a project for my course. I lack a technical background in areas such as Construction and Engineering which are industries that utilise Primavera P6 in a big way. My P6 and PRINCE2 qualifications are entry level qualifications.
What skills come to me naturally
Organisational skills, team working and communication skills. I also possess analytical skills. I am proactive and think outside the box.
What do I struggle with
I have not been involved in a real life project. I fear that lack of experience will dissuade potential employers from engaging me. I do not have an Engineering or Construction background. I will struggle in that area.

I need to continue practicing my MS PROJECT and P6 training to keep it sharp. I also need to do my PRINCE2 Practitioner Course. Due to issues of cost, I will only be able to do the PRINCE2 Practioner Course after getting a job in Project Planning.
