Hi,
Vladimir.
I have already tested this new feature, it worked perfectly.
Congratulations on your agility.
Thank you very much.
Hi Vagner,
the feature is available.
Best Regards,
Vladimir
Vagner,
Welcome to PP as a Spider Project user/professional; hope many more from your country will join the discussion for the benefit of all.
Try posting your post under thread named New Spider Project Functionalities, in this way when Vladimir posts new Spider Functionalities you will receive an e-mail from PP.
Best regards,
Rafael
Hi Vladimir,
That’s it.
Please let me know when the feature is available.
Thanks,
Vagner
Hi Vagner,
If I understood the task correctly you want a signal that shows that the truck is old and requires some maintenance. Is it true?
At the moment you can use Current Date in reports but not in the formulae.
I expect that the version with the Current Date in formulae will be published this week.
Then you can create user field in the resource table with the dates of last maintenance and the function DiffDates will show the number of days between these dates and the Current date. The signals may show different periods but remember that different machines require different periods between services.
Best Regards,
Vladimir
Dear Vagner,
Thank you for your kind reply.
We have to ask Vladimir to explain to use the differences, it would be good to read. Or you can post a link if you can.
With kind regards,
Samer

Level B - SPs : Spider Project Specialist
Level C - SpP : Spider Project Professional
Level D - SpA : Spider Project Administrator
Level E - SpU : Spider Project User

Hi Vladimir,
I need get the current date of operational system (computer), to calculate the operation time of a equipment, for example:
I input with date acquired the a truck, and in Spider Project I use a formula:
If (CurrentDate) - (InputDate) is > 5 years then signal is red
Else
signal is green
Is this possible?
What does the function DiffDays ( )?
Best Regards,
Vagner
Hi Vagner,
What is the SpP stands for?
With kind regards,
Samer
Hi Vagner,
do you need it for reports or something else?
Did I understand correctly that by System Date you mean project Data Date (Current Date)?
If you need this for project reports then you shall use Report Templates.
In the Report Template Properties (section Templates of the Main window, table Report Templates) you can select the report for the Whole Project, Selected Period (user defined dates), or Shift from the Data Date where you may define that the report shall be created from the current project date for the next X days.
Any report that you define can be saved as the template and used in the scenarios.
Best Regards,
Vladimir
