We have a contract where there is an accepted programme which shows the planned completion and a completion date. Due to a compensation event no 1 the planned completion and completion date has been extended by 2 days.
Due to good weather progress has been ahead of schedule on site but now another CE has raised which will effect the critical path.
As the planned completion is now 2 days ahead of schedule, ie what it was prior to CE 1, is the contractor entitled to claim the 2 days delay costs (preliminaries) that has already been implemented in CE1. In effect claiming the same 2 days twice?
If this is the case does the completion date move out by a further 2 days as well?
