Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer
Identify the critical activities and continuously monitored and reported to project management.
Identify and collect technical documentation in order to understand the project deliverables and all components.
Sufficiently detailed logical network to define need dates for all materials and components.
Develop a complete Procurement Plan including all components defined in the scope of supply list together with procurement department, in order to define Need Dates and Lead Time in the procurement plan.
Develop an Engineering Plan with milestones for design freeze and placement of Purchase order based upon the Procurement Plan.
Develop Construction Plan with milestone dates for various construction completion and mechanical completion. The plan shall include manhour estimates to define need for Engineering resources.
Update the integrated network with Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) activities to enable effective analysis of the network, based upon these detailed plans.
Collect reports from Engineering, Procurement & Construction Department, then, report deviations.
Prepare man-hour performance reports for engineering in cooperation with cost controller.
Monitor sub-contractors’ plan and analyze and report deviations.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required by the Client (contract clause for Planning Reports).
Give a schedule input to Variation Orders and define/analyze cumulated effect on overall project.
Monitor progress, control Package activities and provide management with float tracking reports.
Assist the Planning Manager in validating progress invoices and Change Order Requests from Contractor
Prepare the Package Planning documents to contribute to package reporting.
Identify potential delays analyze and issue proposed corrective actions as required.
Provide planning support to functional across the Company.
