2009 – 2010, New Printing Facility for Gulf News, Dubai, UAE, Senior Planner: Being apart of the Project Management Team with key tasks involving; preparing and monitoring project programmes, preparing progress reports, review contractor’s programmes, updating progress against baseline programmes, review Contractor’s EOT (Extension of Time) claims and assisting the Project Manager in various other tasks.



2008 - 2009, Seconded to Atkins Abu Dhabi: Preparing tender and design programmes within various stages of design, i.e. Concept, Preliminary, Detailed Design and Tender Documents. Developed management tool to oversee the productivity level of the staffs.



2007 - 2008, Seconded to TDIC, Tourism Development & Investment Corporation, Abu Dhabi: Involved in the Master Planning stage for Saadiyat Island which is to become an icon of Abu Dhabi with museums such as the Louvre and Guggenheim. Prepared various high level programmes for the dredging, infrastructure, museums, hotels and other amenities to be developed on the island and monitored the design progress.



2004 — 2005, Senior Project Planner, KL, Malaysia

UEM Group HQ Project (High-Rise Building)



•Developed MIP (Master Implimentation Schedule) with PMC

•Reviewed Sub-Contractors Schedule submission to ensure it fits to the MIP

•Develop detail project schedule for Structural, Architectural, ID, Façade and M&E works for the 29 storey Tower & Annex Block.

•Prepare Weekly and Monthly report for submission to clients.



2003 — 2004, Project Planner, Doha, Qatar

College of Technology (Seconded to UEM Builders Sdn. Bhd.)



•Develop detail schedule for 19 Academic Blocks, including Foundation, Structure, Internal works, Infrastructure and Landscaping, reporting to Planning Manager. Scope also covers managing and updating of Schedule reporting progress.

•Determine critical activities and advise Project Team on delayed activities and mitigation measures or revise schedule as per site sequence.

•Develop detail micro schedule on delayed areas as means to determine detail or Close Monitoring System.

•Prepare EOT application for each Milestone/ Phases of works. Carry out impact analysis for various issues against critical path.

•Prepare weekly and monthly report. Attend bi-weekly Client meeting and weekly internal progress meeting.



2002 – 2003, Project Planner, KL, Malaysia

Serdang Hospital (Seconded to Ranhill Sdn. Bhd.)



•Reporting to Project Control Manager and Sr. Project manager directly. Develop overall work programme which includes the Main Hospital Blocks, Accommodation Blocks, Medical Equipment, external infrastructure and landscape. Develop detail work programme for all works including T&C and Authority inspection schedule inline with handover with manpower loading.

•Track activities using Job Card method. Redevelop all Job Card activities into P3 format with sequence and manpower. Tracking Site instruction and its impact to the overall programme. Coordinate with hospital medical equipment specialist and track it based on the overall programme. Scope also covers managing and updating of Schedule and progress reporting.

•Assigning cost weightages and determining overall cash flow and planned vs. actual progress based on weightage. Coordinate with Floor Managers and report progress and delay in weekly progress meeting. To perform special assignments for the Planning and Scheduling team i.e Power point slides reporting and tracking format

•Assist Project Manager in preparing EOT application to JKR (Client). Carry impact analysis for various issues against critical path.



2001 – 2002, Project Engineer, Malaysia

Electrified Double Track Project (Rawang to Ipoh)



•Assist the Project Manager in coordination of all M&E/Utilities services from Rawang to Ipoh. Assist in developing the overall work programme and also plan for interface milestone and coordinate work at site with other package contractors. Actively participated in the team formed to coordinate and complete the planned work. Provide support for other support project groups as required.

•Prepare weekly progress report. (Actual Vs Planned) progress percentage and two weeks lookahead programmes.

•Coordinate Design changes and site instructions. Liaising with government officials and consultants. Attend site co-ordination meeting with contractors. Manage overall schedule and coordinate with supervisors
