PROCUREMENT & QUALITY ASSURANCE
• Determine material and special tools required for the planned work. Management of long lead time materials ensuring all technical specifications, manufacturers’ recommendations and relevant Australian Standards are in compliance.
• Compile work packages for all work orders related to the execution of the project including work instructions to the highest standard, drawings, material list, risk assessments, job safety analysis, MSDS, permits (Confined Space, Hot Work) quality assurance documentation, equipment data sheets, isolation requirements etc.
SCHEDULE DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
• Pre-Inspection of works to determine work requirements including hazard and risk analysis and impact on other areas of the plant and equipment
• Determine facilities, equipment & resources required eg demountables, satellite workshop space and there locations, transportation of materials, cranes, scaffolding, tradesman & civil works etc.
• Develop work schedules and continually assess the critical path (actual vs. target) resource allocations and numbers to ensure the project does not exceed its planned outage window.
• Determine in consultation with the relevant Superintendent, Supervisor, Tradesman, Contractor and other interested parties the best job method to be used to successfully reach the target.
• Implement and present work schedules to the client and other interested parties prior to and during the execution of the project
BUDGET ESTIMATE DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
• Determine the shutdown scope in consultation with the relevant Area Operation Superintendant, Process Representative, Maintenance Superintendent, Maintenance Supervisors & Leading Hand Tradesmen
• Implement, Develop & Input the agreed scope into a estimating sheet and submit for budget approval
• Track all cost associated with the pre shutdown works, mobilisation, execution and demobilisation phases of the agreed scope and provide costing feedback to the client.
• Generate and supply the client with a final cost report measuring the actual cost vs. the approved cost
