DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Planning Engineer)

     Develop, implement and Maintain Project Plans, Schedules, Detail Work Programmed from Design up to Construction using standard business software such as Primavera P3e, Primavera 6, Microsoft projects, Microsoft Office & Other Windows Application.

     Review the scope of work (SOW) to determine the breakdown of resources and tasks required to perform and complete the work activity.

     Create and Provide detailed sequenced multi level (WBS) work plans and ensure all necessary materials and resources are available. Details to include skill / labour / man hours /materials / tooling / specialty in contractors and transportation

     Create, and Provide, Project Controls Systems and interfaces with financial accounting systems within existing Procedures and Guidelines

     Identify and coordinate the procurement of all materials and external resources required to execute the work plan.

     Organize and facilitate daily / weekly scheduling meetings with line managers and coordinate with clients.

     Liaise and review plans with line managers to assure cost effective and expeditious completion of all work.

     Assures proper closure of work orders and documentation and initiates follow up work orders.

     Prepares performance reports that quantifies statistical trends and provide analysis of data.

     Prepare Weekly & Monthly report. Identify Critical activities and prepare Presentation Material on the status of projects. Make sure all data are accurate coming from actual quantity survey from the site.

     Strictly Monitor all on-going activities to ensure that they will conform with the planned scheduled to avoid any slippage in our work accomplishment every week.

     Reviewed proposed schedule changes with construction personnel, client and contractors

     Advise Project Team Leader of deviations to plan, and be prepared to recommend corrective action to maintain the schedule or cost. Produce regular progress and cost reports, plus ad-hoc reports as required by the Project leader, that includes TIA, variations and claims.

     Prepare Monthly Report And Monthly Progress Valuations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Cost Engineering)

     Maintaining current cost control database and initiating correspondence relating to cost control clarification.

     Providing cost engineering support to the project, including support to project Controls Manager as required.

     Establishing Cost Controls, Financial Control Procedures and related manuals for project team use.

     Providing project budgets and subsequent cost estimates and plans.

      Advising and making recommendations on all design changes which impact on the project budget.

      Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan accordingly.

     Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Manager or Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.

     Provide information for a database of cost and schedule historical data for benchmarking

     Make Cost Monitoring of projects and make a weekly report regarding cost variance that Includes SPI/CPI analysis.

     Setting performance standards / norms for new projects from captured work history and previous project performance.
