Scope: Construction of new road ( high Altitude road Appx. Height above sea Level = 3500 meters, one of the toughest terrains in india ) by way of earthwork excavation , Blasting , Construction of retaining walls ,breast walls , culverts etc.

Location: Kashmir India
Client: Economic Reconstruction Agency
Scope: Upgradation and improvement of roads including widening construction of drains, culverts , bridges , retaining walls, construction of new pavement by wet mix Macadam and Bituminous Macadam.
Responsibility:
• Provide direction and management to the project and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Manage the day to day activities of the project like client/ consultant representation and internal coordination with all discipline leaders in the office; for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
• Plan and define program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develop in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
• Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
• Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
• Establish weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items
• Ensure that adequate resources are available/planned to enable continuation as programmed or identify any acceleration required.
• Attend major meetings with clients and consultants.
• Negotiate prices & deals with sub contractors & suppliers and recommend selections to Head Office
