Ras Tanura Refinery Upgrading - Pkg 2 as Project Planner/Scheduler, responsible for developing detailed construction master schedule, miscellaneous schedules (14 & 90 days lookahead, contingency/recovery plan, interdependency schedule, detailed specific & tie-in schedules). Evaluate subcontractors’ schedules, scheduled progress & revenue income, project budget, progress reporting, correspondence on schedule, manpower profiles and construction equipment schedules, project specific equipment & bulk material requirement schedules. Review, assess, record effects of change requests/orders into construction schedule & manhour/progress tracking by detailed activity back-up sheets, time analysis for schedule impact and critical path network maintenance. Liaise with Client’s Planning/Scheduling Representative and attend progress meetings & special meetings on schedule & material delivery. Participated in constructability studies and complied constructability log.



Project: Ras Tanura Refinery Utilities Upgrading - Pkg 2 (U.S. $ 45 million). The package consists of upgrading the 14 utilities & process systems spreading throughout the existing live refinery at Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. The work includes underground exploratory investigation, civil construction, demolition, steel-piling, structural steelwork (process interface buildings, power substations, interconnecting pipeways, vessel frames), mechanical (refurbishment, relocation & installation of process equipment), piping, electrical & instrumentation (control panels) & re-instrumentation (field instruments), painting, insulation, fireproofing, steam-tracing, pre-commissioning & commissioning work. The tie-in work was scheduled within the allowed turnaround & inspection windows. The various systems were interrelated and the work is scheduled carefully in order not to disrupt the operation of refinery.
