•     Jumeirah Heights Project – 4 Towers, 8 Buildings and Village center – 6 Billion Dhs.

•     Heart of Doha Project (Doha city development) – Phase 1A – 9 Billion QAR.



Project Control Manager

     

Reporting to the Project Director, main accountabilities are:



-     Review, upgrade, development and implementation of the project control system and integration with administrative and operational procedures of the Project.

-     Collation of design side and construction side documentation for the design and construction Master Schedule, and the preparation of output reports with recommendations.

-     Preparation of monthly narrative, cost, schedule and financial reports for the monthly progress report, submission and distribution of same.

-     Ensure that PCS Engineers and their staff are aware of, and have a common understanding of, their respective functions and responsibilities.

-     Oversee and monitor the development of database programs being implemented to meet the Project requirements.

-     Oversee and review financial and cost reporting forms, development and specific formats for design and construction monitoring purposes including planned versus actual projections and indicated outcome reports.

-     Oversee and monitor PCS support for construction schedules and cost analysis, for use at regular and extraordinary coordination meetings and in respect of relevant expediting activities.

-     Oversee and monitor contractors’ submittals of material samples, data, shop drawings and technical data and relevant approvals by Consultant.

-     Oversee preparation of Master Schedule and Details Schedules for construction including review of contractor schedules, updating and status reporting to the Director of the Committee on same.

-     Oversee documenting of design and construction budgets, cost estimates, associated financial reporting including cash flow projections, and indicated outcome reports.

-     Oversee the logs and tracking proposed design and construction changes, Variation Orders, and claims submission from design consultants and construction contractors.

-     Assist in evaluation of tenders to determine that separate contractor schedules and any qualifications to those schedules meet overall project time requirements.

-     Provide recommendations when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress so that work may be re-scheduled or accelerated to provide for on-time completion.

-     Conduct analysis of alternatives and options in the programming of the works to allow “what if” considerations where market fluctuations, implementation of changes, and/or unanticipated events impact the design and construction schedule.
