Stagecoach – East Midland Trains Ltd: Project Planner (P6)
I am currently working for the infrastructure projects division for EMT, a principal contractor managing C Spencer Ltd who are the main contractor, on the Etches Park Depot £11m+ project. The project is multi-discipline and involves elements of P-way, M&E, OLE, Civils & general building work. The role involves managing, updating & amending program plan in P6. Managing principal contractors C Spencer Ltd P6, ensuring critical path, milestones & project obligations are being met. In addition I am frequently required to put together new plans, or convert currently held projects from other planning software such as MS Project into P6 format to do more complex work. I attend Cost Review meetings to report on projects progress and give forecasts of completion. I also go out on site to inspect & report on physical works done and update P6 programme.
