Based in Nigeria, work covering 3 sites, in sole charge of a small staff of both local and third country nationals. Projects included turn-around-maintenance of a refinery, gas-lift plant and 147 km cross-country pipeline. Evaluation of contractors programmes against the in-house estimates and cost control of the projects. Reporting at all levels to Nigeria and Italy. Other duties included negotiations with local landowners, security services and government bodies to ensure smooth running
