As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Planner
1) Responsible for planning work packages for valves, piping, pipe supports, pumps, compressors, exchanger, drums, column, air fin cooler, reactor, tanks, inspections, welding etc. These plans included but are not limited to procedure selection, material identification and craft directions.
2) Responsible for reviewing and analyzing engineering walk down data sheets on plant equipments and components. Compared technical data with plant drawings and equipment vendor manuals to assure that the correct equipment and parts are being used to repair or replace existing equipment or piping.
3) Prepared job plans to include the sequencing of associated tasks, taking into account multi-craft alignment.
4) Developed the detailed maintenance planning cost estimating, identifying material requirements, special tools and external services.
5) Participated in a regular planning/scheduling meeting to identify work to be planned and determine appropriate priorities and preferences to develop monthly maintenance work plan and execute daily activities on site. (Co-ordinate with EM Planners/FLS).
6) Established detail task list for shutdown activities, job safety analysis, method of statement and ventilation plan for critical activities such as blinding/de-blinding, hot tapping, lifting over live equipment, towers and vessel cleaning activities etc. (coordinate with supervisor and subcontractor).
7) Managed and drove the maintenance team, contractors, and external service providers to deliver given scope on schedule and within budget.
8) Assisted to maintenance manager in resource planning for plant shutdown work.
As a Field Project Engineer (Mechanical/Piping)
1) Assisted to construction manager in detail construction planning and implementation of all project phases.
2) Responsible for assurance of project technical solution, to ensure compliance with project controls including deviation and concessions etc.
3) Prepared non conformity report, site technical queries, and deviations.
4) Developed BOM for piping and steel materials, prepared materials requisition and review technical and commercial proposal from bidders.
5) Performed cost estimation and proposal schedule for DDO and EMMES Projects.
6) Attended project kick off meeting, schedule and proposal cost review meeting.
7) Developed the detail construction schedule, manning schedule, equipment schedule, working steps and procedures upon receipt of LOI.
8) Tracked and monitored project progress (including shop fabrication, onsite erection, and subcontractors, outside vendors and third party service providers) till project completion.
9) Planned and expedited the project teams to deliver project on time.
10) Established and implemented project reporting procedures, and submit weekly progress report to client.
11) Supported as a field engineer for piping and equipment installation (rotating & static) construction punch list and pre-commissioning.
