Project – Electrification
To provide a Project Scheduling/Planning service to the Project Manager in the construction of electrification projects, ensuring that a two year rolling plan view and resource requirements are in place and maintained.
To provide project Scheduling/Planning within a Corel view system, utilizing MS Project, Excel spreadsheets and reports to track monitor and schedule projects in a two year rolling plan, in all the electrification projects in the Eskom eastern region.
To track actual against planned on the Electrification schedules.
To setup the Project Schedule on the Microsoft Project and Corel View System, after the Resource Planning Meeting has taken place and dates have been decided.
To detect at early stages utilizing Corel View the risk factor associated with every project.
To report on a weekly basis the current status of all projects and inform relevant parties of contingency plans if there is going to be a scope creep or a task delay.
To liaise with external consultants that are sub contracting to Eskom Distribution on their performance on the scheduled projects, and to ensure that the standards are met at all times.
To ensure that all Project Coordinators are performing according to the schedule and no projects are falling behind the schedule.
