Planning & Control Engineering
Attend to all planning input and requirements at tender stage and pre-qualification stage.
Prepare Project Presentations; provide Tender stage Project Programme, histogram in accordance with requirements of Technical submittal.
Attend Pre-award contract meetings with clients / consultants as well as kick-off meetings for new projects. Compile and issue the Company’s overall labour deployment report.
Involve in the preparation, submission and updating of baseline programmes such as Project detailed construction programme, Project material procurement schedule, Project shop drawings schedule, Project cost load schedule, and Project labour histograms.
Prepare Master Schedules and project budget. Exercise full control over project time and cost.
Prepare Risk Register; provide variance reports and suggest solutions.
Monitor project resources, material and equipment management and report on the same.
Conduct controls meeting and site coordination meetings with consultant and subcontractors.
Monitor work progress against the contractual schedule as well as cost tracking reports and advise top management. Take actions to deal with delays or emergencies at construction site.
Oversee Consultant’s efforts on project close-out plan adhering to Snagging/ De-snagging, Operations & Maintenance, as-built drawings, and other project documentations.
Prepare and control project closing out documents.
Contracts Engineering
Expertise in managing and controlling contracts while administering FIDIC on implementation.
Prepare a comprehensive contracts document to conform to local regulations.
Ensure adequacy completeness and suitability of the contract through all stages to award.
Ascertain the proper implementation and fulfilment of the contractual obligations.
Prepare Extension of Time Claims against all risk of events in the project with regards to Schedule, General/ Particular Conditions of the Contract and protocols of Construction Law.
Coordinate and supervise the preparation of cost/ time impact studies on variations to determine if the claim is warranted in conjunction with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
Project Management
Participate in conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.
Carry out general project management activities from project inception till project completion.
Prepare and issue Invitation to Tender in liaison with clients.
Review bids received against client requirements and coordinate with the same for technical evaluation, commercially evaluate and award contracts.
Liaise constantly with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and specialists on work progress.
Oversee consultant and contractor’s works including time, cost, quality, progress and site safety.
Abide by company policies, quality procedures, statutory regulations and project specifications.
Arrange team building workshops and ensure adherence to safety regulations and requirements.
