General duties and responsibilities:

- Prepare Annual Planned Outage Programs in collaboration with System Engineers, Safety & Compliance, Operations, Maintenance Work Groups, Procurement, etc.

- Coordinate the implementation of Planned Outage Program during the shutdown of unit

- Prepare 5 Years Planned Outage Program in collaboration with Technical Services and obtain approvals from management every year

- Prepare and update the Unplanned Outage Program, on a weekly basis

- Supervise and/ or perform schedule development, maintenance and monitoring activities

- Support development of planning & scheduling standards and procedures

- Prepare department procedures, WBS, OBS, RBS and CBS for the projects

- Prepare various level projects and manpower schedules for the projects for review and final issue

- Monitor progress, issue schedule status and trend analysis for management attention

- Responsible for planning & scheduling preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities, implementation of system modifications, which require equipment shutdown (plant in running)

- Responsible for planning & scheduling the special projects as needed by Station Management

- Responsible in identifying, analyzing and providing solutions to planning & scheduling problems

- Responsible for Cost/Budget Control of projects (personnel, equipments, materials, etc.)

- Prepare Unplanned and Planned Outage Reports

- Maintain relationships with project personnel, particularly with individual discipline group leaders and engineers and with the Project Manager

- Coordinate the activity in order to produce and implement the Daily Work Program (plant in running), when the daily coordinator is missing

- Act on behalf of Planning Superintendent when necessary

Specific outage duties and responsibilities:

- Prepare planned work schedules using Primavera P3 v.3.0 software program (Bar Chart and PERT);

- Supervise and/or perform the collection, verification and integration of work scope for all disciplines into total project plan

- Work with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs

- Responsible for total integration of schedule activities

- Responsible to plan and supervise to establish milestones for total project

- Establish and implement method for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines

- Hold periodic meetings with Management to keep them informed on the status of shutdown program preparation

- Produce various diagrams and work plans in scheduled format, s-curves, histograms, graphics or displays

- Provide resource levelling and job information from assessment estimations

- Provide work reports including information on critical activities, critical path and total float, cost/budget control

- Draw out statistic reports on current schedule and target schedule highlighting eventual delays

- Responsible for preparing and presenting the Critical Items Action Report
