Assistant Engineer with M/s Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation – a Govt. of Gujarat Undertaking for development of Industrial Estates within the state of Gujarat.
The assignments handled:
There were about 160 industrial estates of varying sizes and at various developmental stages spread across Gujarat State.
Site in-charge for execution of Infrastructure and Developmental works of Industrial estates viz. Networks of Roads, Water, Power, Underground Drainage, Factory Sheds, and Housing quarters
Review of Design, Estimation, Tender Documents of various work packages
Contracts Management - Contractors & vendors finalization, Certification of payments.
Monitoring and Review of periodical progress reports, cash flows & Budgets
Review and approval of plans for development works & industrial activities in industrial plots
Review and Appraisal of Project Proposals and Cost Estimates of developmental works and Profitability analysis for the same
Review of Policies relating to valuation of buildings, inventories, cost sharing, Recoveries, planning of estates & services
Provided regular updates and potential risk areas that may affect the Development works with suggesting remedial measures to mitigate adverse impact on profitability.
