Project
• Installation, validation and cause and effect testing of the fire detection and alarm system at Heathrow Terminal 5. Included 333 individual fire detection panels
Duties and Responsibilities
• Created and managed project plans (P3 and MS Project), and reported progress on a monthly basis to the overall Terminal 5 project group.
• Critical Path Analysis – assessed programme impacts and mitigated against slippage of overall programme
• Creation of the project tracker document, including weekly and monthly ‘lookaheads’ for the installation phase of the system.
• Developed KPI’s to build a realistic picture of project progress to report to Project Team.
• Proactively used ‘what If’ analysis, to identify problem areas and solutions the Project Team.
• Assessed Impact of Change on Programme.
• Used Resource loading and Levelling to generate realistic programmes.
• Liaised with construction (AMEC) and pre-commissioning (Sepam) contractors to negotiate site access dates for Honeywell.
