RESPONSIBLE FOR: Supervision & control of allocated site construction activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Site management and supervision of specific allocated sections of the project as delegated by the Project Engineer / Management.
Monitor concrete record and orders, ensure concreting per specifications.
Directing, co-ordinating & monitoring any subcontractors nominated by the Project Engineer / Management to be under the direct control of the Foremen to ensure that the quality of their work is as per contract specifications & completed in accordance with the programme.
Prepare subcontractors’ payment certificates, subcontractors’ pay’t. summary, Company monthly valuations, materials & drawings submittals, subcontractors’ correspondence & coordination, prepare meeting’s agenda, variations claims/work change order measurements
Review and approval of subcontractors work procedures and method statements.
Ensuring site housekeeping is constantly in good order and that the site is kept tidy in keeping with the policy of Company.
Controlling material wastage to an acceptable level and maximising equipment utilisation and efficiency.
Ensuring materials and plant are requisitioned in good time, taking into account the requirements of the programme, delivery periods and Company purchasing procedures.
