Role:     Sr. Planning Engineer – Joined in MIS as Planning Engineer and later on assigned the responsibilities of lead planner for a number of projects, reporting to planning & estimation manager.



Job Responsibilities: Responsibility includes design, prepare and compile planning & project control package for the projects. Develop and maintain the resource and cost loaded contract baseline schedule. Define the detailed scope of work and work breakdown structure for the entire project. Progress monitoring and prepare weekly & monthly reports to client and management. Prepare recovery, acceleration and various tracking schedules as and when necessary. Preparation of contract price brake up and cost loading the master schedule. Prepare cash flow curves and detailed resource utilization plan. Prepare detailed level 5 programs based on piece mark for final quantity measurement. Prepare of invoices for interim payments. Review of sub-contractor qualifications. Review and approve / certify of subcontractor invoices for interim payments. Assist project manager in review meetings with client and consultant. Attend the interface co-ordination meetings. Convene in house weekly progress meetings and other department’s co-ordination meetings. Provide all necessary planning and scheduling supports to the project team. Develop job-hour expenditure reports for all assigned disciplines and specialties. Provide schedule alerts to various departments and management. Prepare resource histogram and project organization chart. Review, perform critical path analysis and recommend necessary project control measures and corrective actions to the project management. Prepare delay and time extension programs. Prepare efficiency and productivity charts. Co-ordinate with all subcontractors and vendors. Prepare, maintain and record all documents relevant to contract and claims. Compiling claims reports. Assistance to claim package preparation. Preparation of project close out report.
