JOB RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED:



AS SENIOR MANAGER / SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER:



     To assist in the development of manpower requirements for specific work disciplines and also assist in resource leveling analysis to perform quantity and manpower resource loading for assigned schedules.

     To determine critical path activities for work areas and / or work disciplines and report activities which have a critical or potential impact on schedule.

     To Monitor Schedule deviations and proposes corrective action/work around solutions.

     To Establish the Project control budgets and Carry out Project cost control activities.

     To Monitor, Control and Report on Project progress and carry out Project Scheduling activities.

     To select Sub-Contractors and obtain estimates, Bids, Tenders, Evaluate and select successful bids from tenders and prepare the commercial aspects of bid and tender offers.

     To conclude arrangement for the supply of Sub-contracts, goods, materials and consultancy services.

     To forecast the use of project financial resources and calculate the financial outcomes of activities.

     To evaluate the information and prepare claim submissions and provide commercial support to the agreement of claims.

     To identify and quantify emerging changes.

     To ensure the completion of Project control activities and Evaluate Project control performance and project information data.

AS PLANNING ENGINEER :



     In charge of planning activities for the construction organization.

     To identify scope, Prepare schedule, Manpower, Quantity progress and performance reports for schedule activities.

     To develop project breakdown and Coding structure, all planning and scheduling tools to be used in control, monitoring and Reporting of project status.

     To determine milestones to support project schedule, including identification of contractual milestones.

     To establish activity durations and sequence for specific work disciplines.

     To identify inter-discipline restraints or interfaces which define activity sequences and work with the performing organizations and units to coordinate work sequences within total project plan.

     Preparing the Weekly Management Information Reports.

     Preparing weekly and monthly reports as required by the client.

     Preparation of Manpower Histograms for all awarded projects using Primavera P3 Ver.2.

     Resource loading in P3 (Manpower, Materials & Equipment) to optimize the use of manpower and critical equipment.

     Monitoring project cost and forecasting over runs if any.

     Co-Ordination with Engineering, Procurement and construction departments for progress follow up of various const. projects like Tank Construction and repair, Process plant piping, Erection etc.

     Obtaining feed back from sites and Up-dating schedules on p3, Tracking critical paths, highlighting to the concerned manager and making recovery plans if req.

     Co-Ordination with clients and subcontractor on execution of the projects.

     Preparing invoices and submitting to client for approval.

     Proposing incentive schemes for motivating the workforce.

     Involved in finalization of sub-contractors related to the project.

     Record all extras to the contract and follow up with client for approval and further for invoicing.

     Controlling the budget by controlling the Man-hours, Material cost, and Subcontract cost. Highlighting the possible overrun of the budget and forecasting the requirements.

      Preparation of Project income and Manpower loading report for complete construction division for the Board meetings.

     Preparation of pre-order work schedules on P3 ver.2.

     Feed back of Project actual man-hours and cost to estimation department for updating the Data Base.

     Preparing 3 week look ahead schedule on P3 and having weekly meeting with the client for clearing hindrances if any.



AS PROJECT / QA/QC / DESIGN ENGINEER:



     In charge for making B.O.M, checking drawings and taking necessary approval from 3rd Party and client.

     In charge for Estimation and Design work for Pressure vessels, Tanks, Columns etc.



     In charge for Construction and QA/QC activities for Piping and Equipments

(Stationary and Rotary).

     In charge for preparing and handling QA/QC document ( Including Hydro test package ) for Site Works.



     In charge for Pre-commissioning activities.



     In charge of Inspection of Materials at Vendor location to be dispatched to site.



MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:



     To perform and supervise project schedule development, Maintenance, Monitoring, Progress status and reporting to ensure customer satisfaction.
