• Plans, schedules and arranges the technical & management aspect of projects.
• Project cost estimation including manpower, material & equipment.
• Involves in planning/progress meeting with the clients and liaise with them for smooth execution of projects.

I am an apprentice working in the Project Controls team at National Grid. My programme started in September 2016 and finishes in September 2018. During my apprenticeship I will spend time with all of the teams within Project Controls:

- Estimating 

- Planning

- Cost Engineering

- Risk Engineering 

- Reporting 

- Change team and workbook 

My role at National Grid was to continue to provide the services as per my time as a contractor supplied from Logikal Projects. In addition, I contributed to data analysis for: stakeholder management, key performance indices, and National Grid planning process improvements. I produced managerial plans for increasing the maturity of work conducted by the scheduling team for the Electricity Transmission Project Controls function. I became a skilled user of Primavera P6 during this role.
