I worked on as short term construction consultant, where I was supposed to supervise the project for its construction, quality and cost. The main contractor (M/s. Insland Construction pvt. Ltd) was a small company who could not afford an engineering team due to financial issues, therefore employed my services, to help them establish and perform the duties. My main responsibilities were as under:

1.     Coordinate with discipline engineers in preparation of the detailed project plan, its activities aligning with the mechanical and electrical works team.

2.     Coordinating the detailed engineering design anddrawings for approved projects, material specifications, and detailed scope of work, technical specifications.

Responsible for provision of Project Services in support of Project Management for Power Generation projects using Rolls-Royce Industrial Gas Turbines and Allens Diesel engines, including:

• Management of up to twenty in number support staff in the functions of Project Planning, Document Control, Resource Management and Project Administration.
• Manage and control the introduction of new working processes and procedures and the introduction of new IT systems for effective project controls.
• Producing reports for issue to both Senior Management and external part

·         Basic responsibilities includes erection, commissioning and troubleshooting of Company manufactured/ supplied machineries mainly for cement plant, like Wagon Loader, Rotopacker, Long Belt conveyors, Truck Loader, Equipments for silo extraction system like air slides, manual gates, Flow control gates etc.

·         Installed 2 nos. Wagon Loader inLAFARGE INDIA, JOJOBERA, JHARKHAND.

·     Project co-ordination with Engineering, Procurement & Execution

·     Establishing Project Cost Estimation (ACE).

·     Monthly Job cost report & Cost control measures.

·     Preparing resource requirement schedule.( Plant, Manpower, Staff, Bulk material, Infrastructure etc)

Assistant Technical Manager responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians, procurement and arranging testing and approval from external authorities (BSI, British Gas etc.)

Project co-ordinator - working within the engineering department for the design and manufacturing of the Rail vehicle carbody. Duties include scheduling the workload, resource management, progress reporting, recovery programmes, communication of issues to project management. This role also involved some international travel to other sites.
