Senior Planning Engineer on Northern Pipeline Inter-connector component of SRWP. Responsible for the development of the project master schedule integrating design, procurement, land acquisition and construction disciplines throughout the preparation of the project Target Outurn Cost submission phase and subsequent site construction.

Preparation of valuations, cost analysis for Project Monthly Report to Branch, co-ordination of procedures for monthly cost review and forecasting, maintain Project work breakdown structure and implement within the cost management and forecasting system, preparation of monthly progress claim, assist administration of subcontracts, cash-flow forecasts.

I was working for Structuretone, who specialise in the re-fit / fit outside of the construction industry. During this time I worked on a number of projects in many different departments. I worked as a quantity surveyor on projects such as Harrods, HRO Clements Inn (final accounts) and Level 3 communications. I also worked in the estimating department on tenders for Deloitte & Touche, HRO Victoria Plaza, British Bakeries, Teletext and JP Morgan Chase. In the planning department I worked, in depth, on live jobs and tenders, usually two or more at a time.

Project Controller on Various AMP 4 programmes of work including Water and Waste water infrastructure rehabilitatiion and capital projects. 

Software development, testing and QA. Project and Risk Management. Contract management and procurement. Shareholder and stakeholder communications. Day to day operations management.

Employed as a Planning Engineer by the electrical contractor on the main terminal building LV installation.

Co-ordinate consortial planners, physical progress of works , master scheduling, etc

Currently managing the planning portfolio of National Grid Major Works projects including new nuclear & wind farm connections which require Development Consent Orders from the Infrasture Planning Commission. 

Jumeira Golf Estates Dubai

AMulti £m construction programme to provide 4 championship golf courses, clubhouse, practice facilities, 1000 residential properties and hotel accommodation.  The project was split into 2 phases; Working closely with the Greg Norman golf design team to build the initial construction programme for phase A of the project. 

Confidential MoD Client- Corporate Programme Planner;  Co-ordinated the integration, testing and roll out of the Primavera P3e planning application (v5.0) onto the client’s network and acted as ‘first user / super user’ during the testing phase.  Migrated the existing level 2 & 3 programme (without resources) into P3e producing both monthly reports to the client’s management board and quarterly programme baseline reviews for customer (MoD) submission.
