§    Preparation of Baseline Schedule as per the contract conditions.

§    Calculating and Loading the schedule with all the resources like Man-hours and Equipment hours. (For forecasting the manpower requirements)

§    Work break down structure as per the project requirements.

§    Deciding the appropriate weekly and monthly progress report formats.

• Plan projects from inception to completion; besides handling construction activities.

• Develop schedule of activities, resource planning, project budgeting; monitor project progress and generate variation report for management.

I am currently working as a Head Planning-Projects for SCOMI Engineering Bhd. a Malaysia based company.

Currently i am looking after 3 projects under SCOMI, 1.Mumbai monorail project 2. KL Monorail expansion project 3.

Paul rejoined MWH in 2004 and over the last 6 years progressed from Planning Manager PCM for programmes to Manager of Project Controls to his current role of Technical Director of Project Controls for the Europe and Africa region. His team now supports the delivery of the current MWH Project and Programme portfolio of over £1.5 billion in the region. His team primarily works for the MWH operation with over 1500 EPC personnel in this part of the world but increasingly now provide advice and guidance to MWH external clients, 

 Colin is an experienced planning specialist with a broad range of experience across a variety of sectors, and provides both strategic and detailed planning services within project and Programme Management environments. Combined with a background in contracting, Colin’s many years with Sweett Group provides him with the understanding of the key drivers for all the principal members of the development team. Working in both private and public sectors, he has detailed understanding of the various procurement routes, design and development stages.

Current Role is Project Controller for 3 major projects in India

1. Modernisation of Railway Signalling between Ghaziabad & Kanpur (Approx 400 Kms) costing Rs. 440 Crores for Indian Railways and funded by KfW Bank, Germany

2. Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Control and Signalling, Telecom and Low Current Systems for Kolkata E-W Metro Rail costing INR 3,093 millions.
