Recently I was involved in  the interior renowation and landscaping works of a residential house in India. B. Integrated Gas Development (IGD) Project – Das IslandThe project involves both offshore and onshore works with building new jetties, jackets, breakwater and flaring facilities on the offshore part and building most of the facilities to be built on the newly reclaimed area of land which will house the 3 trains for Gas dehydration and Compression interlinked with the existing utilities.

The primary purpose of this role was to estimate, plan and schedule all work activities for the 2011 shutdowns at the Caltex oil refinery, Kurnell.

Project planning, updating, costing and change control for MAST nuclear fusion experimental reactor.  Earned value and critical path analysis on the MAST Upgrade project in addition to interface management and risk identification /management.  Project monitoring and resource management for Joint European Torus (JET).

I started working for Stocks and Stocks immediately after qualifying with my B.Sc. Building Management degree in Mmabatho.

My first role as Site Agent (1989)was to plan and set up a new contract to construct a Teachers Training College in  Lehurutse which is just outside Zeerust. Planning was done by hand on A1 sheets of paper and I created two type programmes - a convential gantt chart for the main buildings and a "Line of Balance" chart for the sudent accommodation section.

Alfon is responsible for the scheduling management of projects within his team. Alfon’s experience in the Middle East has seen him involved in large scale iconic developments throughout the Gulf region and he has applied international practice codes from the USA, the UK and the Middle East. Alfon has high level experience working with various software packages such as Primavera P6.2 and MS Project.
