Senior Planning Engineer I am the senior planner on a £114 million upgrade to improve the River Ribble estuary and the coastal environment flood defence project on behalf of United Utilities. This involves building a 3.5 km long storm water storage tunnel in the Preston and Penwortham areas. This will bring significant environmental improvements to the Fylde coast bathing waters and designated shellfish beds located within the Ribble Estuary.
u Created work breakdown structure to define the project scope into “manageable” work packages and make sure the entire scope is covered in WBS
u Produced Project Plan which included Gant Chart, Network Diagram, S-Curves and Resource Histogram using Project Management Information Systems like Primavera , MS Project and Project Commander
u Performed Earned Value Management analyses to measure project progress against agreed baseline
