I was working on the Indeni Phase 2 Project. I was part of a core team of individuals that was head office based, but I had moved to site in Zambia to have a hands-on approach of monitoring progress on a daily basis. This project was multi disciplinary, consisting of design, procurement, fabrication and erection of piping, civil works, structural steel fabrication and erection, electrical and instrumentation erection, as well as close-outs, in the petrochemical industry.

Currently, I am working for BHP Billiton Energy Coal South Africa on the DMO projects. I am part of a core team of individuals that specializes in Project Management. This project is multi phased, consisting of basic design, detail design, procurement, fabrication, execution and commissioning. The execution is also multi disciplined, which include the following - earthworks, civils, buildings, structural steel, piping, mechanicals, electrical and instrumentation erection, as well as commissioning and ramp-up, in the coal mining industry.

I am a certified Electrical Engineer and worked as an Electrical Engineer, a Project Controls engineer and also assisted the project manager on many occasions. I haven't really had much planning and scheduling experience since I do not know how to allocate resources and schedule activities accurately.
