Preparing work ahead for field (inside and outside refinery) ,creating-planning work in Primavera P6

i'm working as a planning engineer in MEP from 2013 april in kuwait. I have to do the planning and scheduling of mep projects using primavera

Responsibilities included: -Scheduling of feasibility, design & construction phases of Lomonosovskoe Iron Ore project using MS Project Professional 2010; -Controlling work execution and prepare progress status each week; -Development of project budgets; -Monitoring of costs vs. budget (Earned Value) and forecasting of the ‘Cost at Completion’.

• Management of a software development project to connect various, independent Primavera and MSP databases and schedules
• Management of a 4D planning project, simulating maintenance works in a nuclear plant, constructions
• Introduction of 4D planning solution to the French market
• Development and management of a project delivery method
• Delivering project planning services

Responsibilities: Development of planning function and spreading best practice in project planning and project management processes, including introduction of new Estimating software solution. Acted as business change agent to improve project delivery performance. Executive member of management team for £70 million turnover business division.

Scheduler for Controls package of a large subsea oil field production development programme

·         Planning and schedule preparation for engineering, procurement, construction of Mechanical, Piping and Electrical, Instrumentation activities

·         Responsible for monitoring progress of work and compares with the approved schedule.

·         Daily monitoring the Status of Subsystems and Commissioning Units (ITR’s, DAC’s, MC-01 completion)

Responsible for the following tasks:

1.) Preparation of Baseline Schedule

2.) Progress Update of Schedule

3.) Critical Path Analysis

4.) Preparation of Monthly, Weekly and Daily Reports to Client
