Civil Construction Manager and Planner

Initially office based preparing the planning (using primavera). Then Site management in Qatar.

Marwais were a small company, specialising in Aircraft hanger installations for Military customers. The Qatar project was for two Aircraft shelters ($65m).

Responsible for developing and delivering the first rolling 2 year Near Term Work Plan (NTWP) for decommissioning Bradwell power station.

Managed the migration of planning and cost data from standalone primavera portfolios into Enterprise system.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Contributed at national level to the planning strategy of the NTWP and in defining a logical EPS and WBS for the operational and decommissioned Magnox Power stations.

Planning Manager for the Civils, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Scada works during the Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases including the management of scope change, change to forecast cost via trends and approved changes, impact on schedule and adjustment to contingency.

A U.S. owned Software Company specialising in the tools and processes to facilitate effective Project/Programme Management.

·       Helped devised and implemented the group’s European EPM strategy.

Ñ        Working as a Senior Scheduling and Cost Control Engineer for Saudi Aramco for security upgrade project for 26 (Bulk Plants & Oil Refineries) around Saudi Arabia

Project Controls Lead responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of planners and cost managers to deliver planning, cost engineering, risk management, change control and reporting on the Legacy Transformation of the Olympic Park.

Responsible for compiling schedules for pre feas, feas, execution, assisting with CBE and procurement planning as well as monthly and quarterly cashflow detail planning. Progress reporting, production reporting and optimazation for earlier execfution. optimizing schedule to meet deadlines, schedule crimping.
