• • • Provide strong leadership to planning engineers, schedulers and cost engineers to plan, monitor, and control the execution of the project within the time and budgetary parameters, optimizing resource utilization.
    • Develop systems and procedures for Project control functions on the onset of the project and as and when there are additional requirements from the client in order to facilitate the process of monitoring progress.
    • Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application

Current Role - Package Planner on Eskom Kusile Power Station in South Africa.  Employed by Black & Veatch.  Project consists of 6x800MW coal-fired units and all BOP elements on a green field site.

Interfaces with Construction and Commercial management staff and with the Controls and Instrumentation contractor.  Reviews contractor programmes, providing feedback to contractor and reporting status to Project.  Develops and inputs logic and status updates for Project Master Programme.  Provides reports and analysis for Project and corporate management.&

Summary Experiences

Lead and supervise a project controls group consisting of Schedulers, Cost Engineers, Quantity Surveyor, and Document Controllers in order to to provide Project Controls Services to Client(resources management, project/construction schedule development, cost control and forecasting, schedule control and forecasting document management).Assigned to under-performing handling Operational & Maintenance/Small Caps for Chevron’s Duri Oilfield.
