Project Manager for large CCR unit Turnaround. Responsible for ‘Design’ phase, through to ‘Select’ and ‘Define’ stages. Scope included large Reactor Catalyst changes, large Heater Inspection, Column repairs and Heat Exchanger Inspections. Lead role in all Planning/Scheduling issues working closely with Main Mechanical Contractor on an EPC Contract.
I manage a team of 50 staff providing the planning and project support for the 2000 employees and projects at the edinburgh site. The team is arranged as four project offices, each with a Projec Office Manager, and one central support team. The four POMships deliver the planning service to each of the sites business areas while the central team supports this activity and pioneers system and process improvements.
Paul rejoined MWH in 2004 and over the last 6 years progressed from Planning Manager PCM for programmes to Manager of Project Controls to his current role of Technical Director of Project Controls for the Europe and Africa region. His team now supports the delivery of the current MWH Project and Programme portfolio of over £1.5 billion in the region. His team primarily works for the MWH operation with over 1500 EPC personnel in this part of the world but increasingly now provide advice and guidance to MWH external clients,
