Provision of contractual advice in the preparation and defence of claims to be negotiated, adjudicated, arbitrated or litigated, including a loss and expense claim for a sub-contractor, an overview of potential claims and defences available to an employer and general commercial pre-contract advice to developers, employers, contractors and sub-contractors.

Advised developers, contractors and sub-contractors of their contractual obligations and rights on projects of values up to £450million. Provided procurement advice. Defended and prepared claims where appropriate. Produced risk assessments on the likely consequential liability or success of a given claim. Prepared Statements of Case for adjudication. Drafted amendments to standard form and bespoke contracts. Drafted Collateral Warranties, Novation and Assignment Agreements.
