Three month contract at Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter for a 12-day major plant shutdown in late August. One of two Planners responsible for developing, monitoring and progressing shutdown schedule consisting of over 6,000 activities.

Schedule involved works across all areas of the plant, as well as requirements for running down the plant leading up to the shutdown and running up the plant at the completion of the shutdown – critical to enable production to recommence on time.

Lead Planner for the Telecommunication & Electronic Systems EPC contractor for the Gorgon Project, Barrow Island LNG Plant. Responsible for all project scheduling, progress measurement and project reporting requirements. Project schedule has undergone an extensive project re-baselining process due to major changes to scope of work and third-party dependencies.

Project Schedule establishment, monitoring and reporting utilising Primavera (P3e) Project Planner – including time sheeting;

Stakeholder liaison;

Project support

Manage infrastructure relocation projects;

Monitor and report project status to relevant stakeholders;

Co-ordinate project activities and resources in accordance with organisational project methodology;

Schedule establishment, development and monitoring for all project related activities and resources utilising Primavera Project Planner and Progress Reporter;

Stakeholder identification and relationship management;

Risk identification, assessment and monitoring;

Project documentation development.

Establishing effective Project Controls – including systems, processes, procedures and approvals for project based scheduling, document and cost control;

Developing project schedules, utilising Primavera Project Manager Version 5;

Monitoring, progressing and reporting project status to key stakeholders;

Developing detailed project documentation – utilising existing templates, processes and procedures or where necessary creating appropriately structured documents for quality control and tracking of project internal workings together with outputs and deliverables;

Maintaining existing fully resourced Primavera Version 5 schedules.

Providing support and training for Primavera time sheet users.

Primavera system support, advice and training for Project Managers.

Coordination of multi-national data input for tender schedule development.

Key stakeholder identification and relationship management

P6 programme development for Gold Coast Rapid Transit Project - Stage 1 Helensvale to Broadbeach

Develop and maintain project master program in Primavera 6.

Provide programming support for internal project progress, resourcing and costing reports.

Develop progress reports for external project stakeholders such as Main Roads, SMEC and project Governance Board members.

Liaise daily with key project personnel for status updates, reporting and planning / scheduling activities.

Provide Primavera system support, advice and training for site staff
