• Supervised and assisted with plant maintenance activities.
• Prepared scopes of work as required on multiple equipment types.
• Author of Main Contract for Kiln 3 Shell Renewal Project 1996 (TTD 1M value).

• Installation QA/QC for Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) Installation.
• Prepared specifications for purchase of various equipment types.
• Prepared project financial and schedule updates for presentation at up to Board Level.

Safiyyah Khan has approximately 5 years of experience in the planning and scheduling field but it’s more in the capacity of assisting project managers, planning managers and cost engineers.

In July 2009 I was sent out to Trinidad to work on a project there for 3 months.  The team consisted of two Mechanical Engineers and me. 

All planning was carried out by me; after the planning was complete I took the role of supervisor.  

In my training I took part in several SMTD courses (Supervisor and Management Training Development)

I also have a license for fork lift operation and a safety passport.

In July (12th to the 14th) I was on a Primavera (P6) training course which I now have a certificate for.
