These are unique roles that cover all project management processes and knowledge areas. Responsibility includes problem solving, reviewing, advising and assisting Suncor's major and sustaining projects portfolios, providing assurance that the project services, project control functions is in accordance with the in-house and best practices requirements of the following elements: project planning & scheduling, cost estimating, interface management, project risk and documentation.

Project Control Governance focal point for planning & scheduling advice and the subject matter expert on risk sensitivity assessment & analysis. Provide guide and expert judgment on project progress measurement, benchmarking, and cost/schedule forecasting & reporting. Other responsibilities include gate reviews, problem solving, advising, and giving expert opinion to Suncor's major and sustaining projects. Give assurance that project control functions is in accordance with the in-house and best practices requirements.

Develop resource, cost loaded schedules for the Oil/Gas, Petro-Chemical and Power Generation Industries.  Scheduling manpower, updating progress and reporting EVMS.

Role involved Leading the planning function to manage the move of 2 Oil sands, Oil train production facilities.

•     Provide project control support to the projects in terms of planning, schedule and project reporting and progress & performance monitoring and systems. 

•     Enforce the compliance of project control systems, standards and procedures in particular planning and scheduling, and the best project control practices for consistency and uniformity.
